Mexicali Blues

The Mexicali Blues brand is an eclectic collection of unique and adventurous wares, ranging from clothing to decor, handcrafted sterling silver and gemstone jewelry to tie dyes and fashion accessories. A love of music and travel was what sparked the start of Mexicali. Taking the name from a Grateful Dead song, the company opened its first store in Portland in 1988, and have steadily grown with the opening of three additional stores in Newcastle, Raymond, and Freeport, Maine. Each location offers a worldly experience that matches the opulent feel of street kiosks or bazaars in foreign lands, with sights, sounds, and smells people won't find anywhere else.
