Micro Bio Devices s.r.l

Micro Bio Devices was created in 2007 in Rome, Italy. In 2009 the company moved to Molise, 170 km S.E. of Rome, and settled in a small town named Filignano, surrounded by the woods of the National Park of Abruzzo, Lazio e Molise. Founders are a group of experts in the field of in vitro diagnostics who grouped up in order to develop innovative instrumentation for clinical laboratories and proprietary lines of products. In 2009 the company took part to a call for funding from Regione Molise, together with Vidue company, and in 2011 it was selected for relevant financing. This led to the creation of a joint-venture between MBD and Vidue, called MolTech.
