As customers' needs evolve, we are responsive and adaptive. Taking microencapsulated phase change to a new level, Microtek launched Nextek in 2016. 2012 was an exciting year for Microtek. Microtek, known for our expertise and decades of microencapsulation experience, joined sister companies, American Thermal Instruments, Inc. and Spirit Solutions, Inc., under one umbrella parent company. While each company has retained their individual identities, the combined resources have allowed all three former companies to offer their customer's a full complement of thermal-related services. In 2016, Microtek launched a new technology called Nextek. Nextek is a new technology in encapsulation that can assist our customers to achieve Oeko-tex class 1 certification with low formaldehyde levels.
