Milgro Nursery

Gary F. Miller founded Milgro Nursery in 1980 after spending several years learning all aspects of the floral business in New Mexico and Southern California. With his sincere, honest and straightforward vision, he started our first location in the farming town of Oxnard, California. Having the heart of an entrepreneur and a great knowledge of business, Gary was able to quickly grow the company. As additional production space was needed to accommodate an increasing demand for Milgro product, we expanded our greenhouse operation to Newcastle, Utah. Through his amazing journey in the industry, he brought on several family members as well as many other valuable, educated, and loyal members to the Milgro team. Gary has five of his eight children working for the company and is thrilled to see them following in his footsteps and continuing on his legacy. Today Milgro is known in the floral industry as one of the largest growers of chrysanthemums, poinsettias and many other varieties of blooming plants. We are proud of our superior quality of potted floral and innovative marketing concepts. We promote potted floral as a lifestyle and are constantly trialling and researching new product to bring to our customers. urrently we produce over six million potted blooming plants per year awarding Milgro as the 11th largest greenhouse complex in the United States. We have enjoyed the journey to get to where we are and are looking forward to a continued bright and exciting future.
