MTEK also achieved NQA-1 quality program conformance in 2010. We focus on high quality, high tolerance ceramic component manufacture in a variety of technical materials. We have a wide range of experience in many industries with our key focus on general nuclear and safety related nuclear components. Other industries that we specialize in are investment casting, continuous casting components, castable refractories, isostatic pressing (CIP), powder compaction, ceramic machining and tool making utilizing ceramic inserts. Our team has expertise in both process equipment and technical ceramics. We cover every aspect of ceramic manufacturing from raw material mixing and spray drying to advanced firing, machinery and inspection. The management team is: Steve Getley: President & CEO Anna Tilley: CFO Eric Youngquist: Quality Manager Drew Spradling: Business Development Located in Knoxville, TN, MillenniTEK has three operating divisions- engineering, quality, and manufacturing- and occupy 2 manufacturing facilities. With over 20,000 square feet of space, the two plants have produced millions of ceramic parts for the nuclear and armor industry with zero customer defects. This experience in addition to the experience of key personnel has led to the development of armor products for use in naval applications. MillenniTEK has a full engineering staff that can model, design, and develop new processes, and a fully capable machine shop, equipped with CNCs, lathes, welding equipment, water-jet and other machinery, that enables our engineers' visions to be realized. All products are manufactured to high levels of precision and quality and in accordance with ANSI/ASME NQA-1-2008 quality assurance requirements for nuclear facility applications. Our key objective is to deliver conforming materials, on time with zero defects. Utilizing the latest laser measuring equipment and techniques, we ensure in specification, high tolerance dimensions, densities and chemistries. Our in-process inspection procedures ensure that pellet production is monitored "on-the-fly" enabling our team to take immediate action should an issue arise.
