Located in the Greater Cleveland area, MindStreams was founded by Wayne Largent in 2010. From 1999 to 2010, Wayne was CTO of IdeaStar, a web development company in Cleveland, Ohio. IdeaStar focused on websites for the financial services and insurance market. They developed QQLink.com, one of the first sites to do online quoting and ecommerce for health insurance. In addition to individual health insurance they provided websites that quoted and sold senior products, term life, final expense, and travel insurance. MindStreams LLC was formed in 2010 when Wayne Largent struck a deal with IdeaStar to acquire their customer base. In 2014 the company moved their offices from Aurora, Ohio to Rocky River, a western suburb of Cleveland. While they continue to apply their insurance expertise to new projects, they have branched out into many other areas. These include eCommerce sites for manufacturers and distributors, online tutoring systems for education, and custom developed portals for non-profit organizations looking to enable their work-from-home resources.
