MIT Pune is synonymous with excellence in the field of education. The quest of excellence has resulted in the creation of a world class center for design education. MIT Institute of Design (MITID) started its operations in August 2006. It is an initiative started under the guidance of today's leading minds of Design Education in India, and MITID plans to develop its identity as a research and training institution of the highest international quality. By 2016, MITID aims to be a Design Habitat. MITID offers programs at both graduate and post-graduate level.
