MNO Vervat Rotterdam

The company of today is founded in 1920. Starting with trading in sand, gravel and construction materials changed in a construction company. During the years the company grew out to a well-known construction company in the Rotterdam area (Netherlands). After a takeover, the company expands to a nationwide operating construction company. Under the brand name MNO the company was active in the Netherlands, Dutch Caribbean, Suriname, and on project basis worldwide (Urkrain, Cameroun). With a yearly turn, around 275 million euro's and 1,000 employees MNO draw the attention of the worldwide operating dredging company Boskalis. In December 2011 management came to an agreement for selling the Dutch branch to Boskalis. Together with Boskalis, the Suriname business is continued. After selling the Dutch Branch management had their time free to focus on their other interest Real Estate and gave a lot of attention to the activities in the Dutch Caribbean. With taking the distance of leading a corporate there was also more time for the entrepreneurship of the early years of MNO Vervat. One element of entrepreneurship is connecting people and business together. Management offered their knowledge and network to other construction companies.
