MOHAN SPINTEX INDIA

MSIL has made a humble entry in the textile jungle of cotton yarns. The Company is promoted by Chowdhary family of Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh, India. Vijayawada is located very close to one of the fine cotton growing area of India - GUNTUR. The company made an entry in 2007 putting up a production facility of 30000 spindles - (14400 ring + 15600 compact) with majority of equipments from Lakshmi Machine Works Ltd., Coimbatore. The plant is located at Vattigudupadu, near to Vijayawada. Taking a market cue from the 2000s trend, the production was designed for an average count of 50s (count range 40s to 60s) mostly targeting shirting and bed linen producers. We received reasonable welcome at the market on account of the quality. The earlier success has encouraged us to take up an expansion of the production capacity - to service other segments of textile market. A new plant at Remalle, Andhra Pradesh (about 10 KMs away from the first Unit and 20 KMs from Vijayawada Airport) was commissioned in 2011 with 44064 spindles (count range 30s to 40s) + 4576 rotors (count range 16s to 22s). This is one of the most modern spinning plant with auto doffing combined with linked auto coner. Further as a value addition measure introduced 8 TFO doubling machines. To address concerns of contamination we have installed Vision Shield/Vetal/Loptex in the Blow Room and have simultaneously started cotton ginning where we could control the maximum of foreign matters, this currently contributes to about 50% of our cotton needs.
