Monterey Park Hospital
In 1972 Monterey Park Hospital embarked on a mission to improve the standards of health care in a culturally diverse community by providing the highest quality of care to our patients. Our philosophy is to coordinate a multicultural healthcare team to better serve our patients and to establish effective communication among patients, employees, physicians, and community through extensive outreach programs. Just like our patient population, we take pride in having our staff be as equally and culturally diverse as our patients. Starting with our physicians, administrators, nurses and the rest of the ancillary teams, we have been culturally trained to understand our community and its needs. In order to have expand our mission we increased our out reach efforts, by providing outreach education on various health topics that our community had an interest in, such as, Maternal Child Health, Impotence, Incontinence and Diabetes. Monterey Park Hospital has made exceptional progress toward achieving recognition in those areas by having continuous seminars that educate and offer help to those who suffer from Impotence/Incontinence and by having a solid program that offers the best pre-natal program to expectant mothers. We made a commitment to offer multilingual patient education, off-site presentations and highly personalized care and attention.
