Moptil, is a company that was founded in 2014. The company has two main activities, the development of Augmented and Virtual Reality Applications for Tourism and Education and the commercialization of these Apps through different market channels. Moptil's main specialization concerns the design, 3D modeling, and implementation of Real Time Reconstruction Applications for Archaeological sites (VR and AR). Moptil has in her team 3D specialists and experienced professionals (3D and 2D artists, painters, Augmented and Virtual Reality Specialists, Programmers etc) and her role is to develop, integrate and implement turn-key Mobile Application projects. Moptil owns her own tablets and delivers one device with the Apps installed, used for a real time visualization of the monuments as they used to be in antiquity. So, people during their visit in the Archaeological sites, do not only hear the history of the monuments anymore, but also see it in a real time 3D App, and moreover compare it with the today ruins. While Virtual Reality (VR) is a simulation of the real world, Augmented reality (AR) goes one step further augmenting a camera's content with a virtual one. In other words is a mixture of the realtime camera's video and many different virtual elements or information (sound, video, graphics or GPS data). Moptil's customers are mostly Tour Operators and Schools. In the near future more people will have the opportunity to enjoy Moptil's services through retail shops and the App Store. The mission of Moptil is to be market leader in the Archaeological Real Time Reconstructions for mobile devices.
