Moulton Bellingham PC announces that associate Juli Pierce has filed to run for election in Yellowstone County for a newly-created State District Court Judge position. Juli has one opponent in the general election set for November for District Court Department 8. Juli is running for one of the two new Judge positions created by the State Legislature to reflect the growing caseload in Yellowstone County. Yellowstone County has by far the most active criminal and civil litigation docket in Montana. Juli had an extensive background in criminal prosecution before joining Moulton Bellingham in 2017 to pursue a family law and general civil litigation practice, as well as acting as a guardian ad litem for abused and neglected children. Juli served on the Yellowstone Area Bar Association Board from 2011 to 2017, serving as Secretary and President during that time. In 2013, Juli was also elected by her peers to serve as a Trustee of the State Bar of Montana and has served as Board Chair of that organization since February 2017. Juli continues her practice at Moulton Bellingham while campaigning.
