MSB (Myndigheten for samhallsskydd och beredskap)

Since 2010, the MSB has assisted in over 30 DRR operations throughout the world, including capacity development of urban search and rescue teams for the Pakistani National Disaster Management Agency; support to the Serbian government in developing a Flood Directorate; and capacity development of Red Cross Societies in Sierra Leone and Liberia. The central aim for the MSB's DRR operations is to assist populations at risk to reduce their exposure to disaster situations.
