Montana Music Educators Association

The Montana Music Educators Association is a dynamic state organization strengthened by the active support of its affiliate groups. Here are the five affiliates who make up MMEA: MONTANA CHORAL DIRECTORS ASSOCIATION (MCDA) MONTANA BANDMASTERS ASSOCIATION (MBA) MONTANA STRING TEACHERS ASSOCIATION (MSTA) MONTANA GENERAL MUSIC TEACHERS ASSOCIATION (MGMTA) COLLEGIATE BRANCH OF THE MUSIC EDUCATORS NATIONAL CONFERENCE (CMENC) In addition, our appointed committee chairs represent affiliation with such groups as: The National Coalition for Music Education, the Society for General Music, the Society for Music Teacher Education, Tri-M, and Retired Music Educators. Our annual state conference rotates among four Montana cities: Billings, Great Falls, Bozeman and Missoula.
