Münchener Hypothekenbank eG is a partner of the Volksbanks and Raiffeisenbanks for the financing of residential and commercial real estate. Münchener Hypothekenbank was founded in 1896 with the support of the Bavarian State Government as a cooperative bank. From its agricultural origins, the institute has developed into a modern, national and international mortgage bank, which has retained the legal form of a registered cooperative and is today one of the few independent mortgage banks in Germany.
