Keywords are planned maintenance programmes, training schemes and formal company procedures for salvage, towage, anchor-handling and other operational activities. Regardless of procedure, safety ALWAYS comes first. With the assessment and certification of its vessels the company complies with the International Ship Management Code. SHE-Q (safety, health, environment & quality) certification has a central place in the company's day-to-day operations. Regular safety meetings are held ashore and afloat, and accident/incident reporting systems and procedures for investigation are in place. Follow up is assured by the ISO 9001 certification, which Multraship obtained in 1999. Multraship is committed to participation in many safety and quality programmes, including the important dimension of environmental care. Participation involves many factors; from ensuring full compliance with international and national regulations, codes and good practice to a commitment to on-going education and training for all personnel. For this reason Multraship has been SCC* (VCA*) certified since 2002.
