Language Hero

Language Hero builds learning learning products. Our first, Smart Chat, is a Language Exchange App that connects people who speak different languages via video chat and provides the content and guidance needed to get them speaking productively to each other in each other&s;s language from day one. We believe that face-to-face real life chat is the best driver of speaking proficiency. We&s;ve set out to create a product that functions as a digital tutor, providing the same kinds of speaking opportunities and the same ability to hear proper pronunciation and get correction from a native speaking chat partner. We plan to sell B2B initially, especially to schools with kids who don&s;t speak the local language well (ELLs in the US, for example).
