The following considerations will guide our purchases: , To assure that we maintain quality products for all our customers, we shall evaluate fairly the quality, the quantity and the origin of the puchase wood, in order to eliminate the illegal cutting. , We shall offer information about the practices of sustainable forestry to all the wood suppliers or their representatives. , We shall work with the private woodland owners and their representatives, while respecting their rights, to promote the principles of sustainable forestry, to help them understand the long-term effects of the forest practices on the resources for benefit of our generations. , We shall promote the use of professional foresters for the planning and the implementation of the forest operations. , We shall estimate a random sample of the forest lands that supply wood to our operations, in order to improve the operations.
