The Philadelphia Nanny Network

The Philadelphia Nanny Network

The Philadelphia Nanny Network, Inc. has been in existence since 1985, a time when there were few agencies in the business. TPNN began at a time when many women in the workforce wanted to keep their careers moving forward while also raising a family. The key was to find a qualified adult who could be home with the children during the work day. Moving to fill this void, Wendy Sachs founded the agency and set about educating the public about the nanny profession while helping parents through the process of finding high caliber in-home child care. Growing the business from a local level, Sachs pioneered the idea of the national recruiting effort, while developing the screening process that is now used in agencies across the country. She has continued to refine this screening process at TPNN and has been a leader in setting Best Practices for the industry.
