NaRaYa
NaRaYa has supported the entrepreneurs of small-sized enterprises. Most NaRaYa products are superb handcrafts of the skilled labour groups from many provinces in Thailand. This kind of support promoted an integration of people in the village, increased income and generated economic security for the villagers. This support was also seen as a distribution of income to a low-class population or villagers in that they did not need to leave their hometown and go to Bangkok to find their jobs. NaRaYa delicately selected raw materials, designed the products and provided the trainings for the villagers who were participated in this project. Even though encountering the difficult challenges of trainings in order to attain the products with required standard on time, NaRaYa is a great success example of Thai products, created by skilled labour in rural areas and accepted by many people around the world. NaRaYa participated in the government-supported project, which aimed to promote goods produced in each province, so that the rural families could earn income from their works in their own provinces. Moreover, NaRaYa also participated in the projects of income generating and poverty relief with CARE, which is a non-profit organization. Nowadays, over 3,000 families in many provinces in Thailand created the products for NaRaYa.
