North American Software Associates

Incorporated in 1982, North American Software Associates, Inc. (NASA) was founded by Brian Borgerding with the idea of creating an agency management system for independent insurance agencies. NASA operated out of the North American State Bank building in Belgrade, MN for 18 years. In 1995, NASA was purchased by longtime employees, Bruce Dickhoff and David Jondahl (President and Vice-President respectively). In 2000, NASA broke ground on a new office located at 104 Owen Street in Belgrade, MN. At this time, NASA had 9 full time staff members. In 2002, NASA acquired the software agreements from Insurance Automation, Inc. (Smart Agent) based out of Port Orchard, WA and converted those clients over to the Eclipse Agency Management System. In 2010, NASA had outgrown the location in Belgrade and moved their offices to Sauk Centre, MN. We leased office space for the next 5 ½ years. David Jondahl retired on 1/1/13 after 29 years at North American Software. Bruce Dickhoff took over sole ownership of the company at this time; Bruce has been with the company since 1986 and worked in all areas from support/training to software development, to his current position as President and CEO. In 2015, NASA broke ground on their current location, 529 Lincoln Loop in Sauk Centre, MN. We moved in to the new building in August of 2015. This new location is designed specifically for our needs and is expandable so we will be able to continue to grow for many years to come. At present, NASA has 19 full-time staff members and continues to grow. We proudly have over 1,000 agencies utilizing our software and have a presence in 35 states.
