National Ice Centre

The National Ice Centre was funded by the following charitable trusts and organisations: Sport England NIC Charitable Trust English Partnership Nottingham City Council European Regional Development Fund The NIC was designed by Nottingham City Council's Design & Property Services, headed by architect Brian King-Fisher. They worked closely with the local disability access officer in order to make the NIC accessible for people with disabilities. The venue is managed by an operating company - Nottingham Ice Centre Ltd. This is controlled by the city council and governed by a Shadow Trust with members including Jane Torvill.
