Native Governance Center

We're a newly-established, Native American-led, non-profit organization dedicated to assisting Tribal Nations in strengthening their governance systems and their capacities to exercise their sovereignty. Our history is rooted in the work of the Bush Foundation's Native Nations program which began in 2009 with the Rebuilders leadership program, as well as supporting tribes by providing grants and connecting them with resource experts. We at the Native Governance Center are committed to carrying forth these efforts and continuing to support Native nation building efforts among tribal leaders, tribal members and tribal communities.
