In the early years the company sold tires and school buses and later on branched into the truck equipment industry. Clarence, as everyone called him, remained active in the business until he was 94 years old. As the years passed Nelson Truck Equipment evolved to meet the needs of their customers selling Campers, Tow Trucks, Aerial Trucks, Customized Commercial Bodies and huge assortment of Aftermarket Truck Accessories. Roy Nelson follows in his father's footsteps by offering customers complete service and installation centers and serving as a warehouse distributor for hundreds of today's most desired automotive products. Now that we have grown into more locations Ben Nelson has come onboard as third generation GM of our Portland location. In 1986 Nelson Truck Equipment acquired Titan Truck Equipment in Spokane and now have locations in Seattle, Kent, Spokane, Portland and Boise.
