Nesima Resort
Nesima Resort was established as a hotel and diving center in 1992. The restaurant was built shortly after to cater for the divers who emerged hungry from their underwater adventures. The natural progression was to then offer our diving visitors a place to sleep and in 1996 the hotel was built. The resort was built on land owned by a Bedouin family who are still involved in the business today. The family teamed up with an Egyptian businessman with whom they jointly run the business. Even today you will still find Bedouin kids playing in the nearby gardens and along the seafront. The dive resort grew to become a 51-room beachfront hotel, with a swimming pool, rooftop bar and a variety of restaurants as well as a coffee shop. Attractively designed, the hotel is made up of a number of small buildings connected by alleys and small gardens. All the rooms have a domed ceiling and the interior is finished with traditional Bedouin style features.
