Nevada HAND

Nevada HAND (Housing and Neighborhood Development) was formed in 1993 to improve the lives of low-income individuals, families, and seniors in Southern Nevada through affordable housing solutions and supportive services. The mission-based nonprofit 501(c)(3) real estate development and management organization uses various funding strategies (government grants, programs, and philanthropy) to develop affordable communities and it provides on-site services to help residents' economic capability, wellness, success in school, and community engagement, creating opportunities for residents to live well, and for neighborhoods to thrive. Nevada HAND has built and currently manages 31 apartment communities that are affordable to working families and seniors living on fixed incomes. More than 7,000 people throughout the Las Vegas metropolitan area live in Nevada HAND communities, including two of the only affordable assisted living facilities in Nevada providing 24-hour support to individuals needing a higher level of care.
