We are a cross cultural worshipping community with a focus on ministering in urban Chattanooga, Tennessee. New City Fellowship at Westminster is a congregation of the Presbyterian Church in America (PCA). Westminster is a congregation that began in 1883 and transferred its property to New City Fellowship in 1989. In honor of the saints who worshipped here, we continue to call this place Westminster. The congregation, called New City Fellowship, began in 1968 as a Mission Sunday School in the black community. We organized as a church in 1976 and maintain our vision to be a cross-cultural church, ministering to black and white, rich and poor, young and old. As a PCA congregation, we believe in the full inspiration of the Scriptures and attempt to preach the whole counsel of God and minister to the whole person. We attempt to preach all that the Bible teaches, and help people in all of their needs.
