NEW THING

New Thing is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization incorporated under the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. New Thing was born in 1992 when Kristina Brendel volunteered as a photographer documenting humanitarian efforts to help the "children of Chernobyl" in Belarus. She continued serving in that country for 8 years; her husband Doug followed in 2000. Soon the Brendels had committed their lives to the people of Belarus. Today New Thing provides 100% of the funding for the "Otklik" (Response of the Heart) organization in Belarus, which is the largest humanitarian organization in the nation.
