NFT capabilities are the result of two decades of competitive experience providing innovative solutions to some of the U.S. Department of Energy's (DOE) most challenging transuranic waste (TRU-Waste) characterization and nuclear materials storage problems. Twenty-two patents underpin our (1) nuclear grade filtration devices and semi-robotic analytical equipment designed to safely characterize headspace gases generated in TRU-Waste containers, (2) semi-robotic nuclear waste sampling devices capable of being operated remotely, and (3) sophisticated high-integrity canisters designed for long-term storage of weapons-grade plutonium. In addition to designing and manufacturing these products in our own Golden, CO facility, NFT has a long history of supporting DOE nuclear production sites (e.g. Savannah River, Oak Ridge, Hanford) and national laboratories (e.g. Los Alamos, Lawrence Livermore, Idaho) with related TRU-Waste operations and engineering services. This long-proven and continuing pedigree serves us well as we expand our market presence into commercial nuclear power markets.
