Ngti Koata Trust

The Ngti Koata Trust is the mandated representative voice of the Ngti Koata people. These people are the descendants of the 262 Tpuna who settled and established rights in Te Tau Ihu following the Tku of Ttepourangi. The Ngti Koata Trust is guided by kaumtua and governed by the Ngti Koata Board of Trustees. The Ngti Koata Trust is the Charitable Trust established under the terms of our Deed of Settlement and is part of the Ngti Koata Group. Our mission is to create an environment in which Ngti Koata can flourish and our guiding principle is to support the wellbeing of our people, places and treasures.
