NNEdPro Academy

The UK Need for Nutrition Education/Innovation Programme (NNEdPro) Group and its Collaborative Networks are a virtual strategic partnership, operating via a core team anchored to Cambridge (co-ordinating centre) and Ulster, bringing together key partner organisations as well as the individuals named below. The Cambridge Hub is known as the Global Centre for Nutrition and Health. NNEdPro has affiliations with Cambridge University Health Partners (recognised 'CUHP Associate') and Wolfson College, University of Cambridge. Members of the NNEdPro Group and its Collaborative Networks are invited to meet in Cambridge annually to contribute to the steering of projects and initiatives across the programme. The NNEdPro Core Team meets monthly to take forward agreed programme objectives. Each year, the NNEdPro Group also organises educational/scientific meetings as well as training, open to external delegates. In April 2015, The Lord Balfe of Dulwich, Honorary BDA President and a resident of Cambridge, became the first Honorary Patron of NNEdPro. Lord Richard Balfe functions as a Special Advisor to the NNEdPro Chair/Directors and as Ex-Officio Co-Chair (with the BDA Chief Executive) of the annually convened NNEdPro Senior Advisory Panel.
