Nolan was established in 1989 as a Limited Company and has grown into one of the largest manufacturers of sealed units in Wales. In our purpose built factory equipped with the latest glass manufacturing machinery we manufacture double glazed sealed units including leaded, Georgian, bevelled and coloured units for both the domestic and commercial market. Toughened, laminated and single glazed units are also available. Our units are supplied with a 10 year guarantee. We manufacture different rated sealed units to match those required for your installation, and each unit we manufacture is given an appropriate rating sticker for your information. Nolan uPVC are a registered Pilkington energiKareTM Partner. We can not only provide energy rated double and triple glazed sealed units to the minimum C rating, but using our Partner products can provide A-rated units, which are argon filled with warm edge space bars. As of 2010 Building Regulations Part 'L' require all new homes and domestic replacement windows to have a minimum 'C' or above Window Energy Rating (WER). We use Argon in our units due to its excellent thermal performance and cost-efficiency in comparison to other gas fills. Argon is a colourless, odourless, non-flammable, non-reactive, inert gas. Argon gas fills are used to reduce heat loss in sealed units by slowing down convection inside the air space. Our manufacturing process is subject to strict quality control procedures and as such all products are delivered to you at the highest standard.
