At Nonsuch, we make Free Range Theatre and by this we mean theatre that isn't restricted by artistic boundaries. Whilst we work in a physical theatre style we engage with numerous contemporary practices to shape and create our work. ... but being free range means more to us than simply defining our approach to creating work - it is also the motto that shapes all our activities as a theatre company: we travel, we roam free following our artistic ambitions and we share as much of our work as we can along the way to try and make the world a better place. Like chickens freed from their coop we don't know where we'll end up (hopefully not the abattoir) but we're happy to explore freely as we reach our destination.
