Normative is a multidisciplinary design firm based in Toronto, Canada. Our team's capabilities cover the entire digital design process through research, information architecture, and interface design, as well as system development and organizational consulting. Founded in 2008 on the vision that a networked future requires different kinds of design. Normative works with complex technologies to create beautiful products, services, and organizations by addressing the needs of our clients and their customers. We've built our vision of what a design practice can be into a focused team of world-class design practitioners. We let our results, and those of our clients speak for themselves; our work makes their work measurably better. Each of us brings a different perspective from systems thinking, urban planning, and strategy, to interaction design, industrial design, and graphic design expertise. We work in collaboration both with each other and our clients. We encourage client participation in our process by hosting everything from month-long residencies to an afternoon workshop.
