Northpoint Church

We are committed to sharing the gospel around the globe and have teamed up with a sister church in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. The name of this church is the Akaki Kale Heywet Church. Akaki is the suburb region of the capital, Addis Ababa. Kale Heywet is the denomination which translates "Word of Life". Our goal is to take teams over to Ethiopia every spring and fall. The spring trips will be in coordination with our other ministry partner Rick Eismann with E3 Partners. This past February he took a team of people from Northpoint to witness to our friends in Ethiopia. This trip was the beginning of the Kale Hewitt Millennium Project. Ethiopia has a different calendar than us, and will be celebrating their Millennium (the year 2000) this September 11th. Their goal is to reach one million of the 4.5 million people that live in their capital, Addis Ababa. They are currently training 7,000 people to go out to every area of their city to proclaim the Gospel. When they go out into the city they will also incite residents to an evangelistic crusade featuring Pastor David as the speaker and Pastor Shannon as the worship leader. This is an exciting opportunity to partner with our brothers and sisters in Ethiopia for the advancement of the Gospel.
