NYCOFI is creating a relief fund for residents in neighborhoods with which our organization has long-standing relationships, who also may be: Undocumented (ineligible for government-issued COVID-19 related benefits) Disabled Low-income Sick or taking care of a sick family member Over 70 (priority for the elderly, but all ages) Have lost their income The Fund will be used to provide direct relief and, to support popular education, advocacy and organizing work related to COVID-19.
