New York State Education Department

The New York State Education Department is part of the University of the State of New York (USNY), one of the most complete, interconnected systems of educational services in the United States. The New York State Education Department is directed by the Commissioner of Education and includes the Office of P-12 Education, Office of Higher Education, Office of Cultural Education, Office of Adult Career & Continuing Education Services, Office of the Professions, and Office of Performance Improvement & Management Services.
