Oakham Veterinary Hospital

Oakham Veterinary Hospital is a long established practice that moved to purpose built premises set in 8.5 acres in April 2005. We have extensive hospital facilities and diagnostic equipment in both our equine and small animal departments offering a full range of veterinary care from routine vaccines, consultations and healthcare through to specialist referral work. Yard visits are available for equine and farm veterinary needs and to enhance the service we offer to our Equine Clients north of Grantham we have a veterinary surgeon based in Lincolnshire. We offer our clients in the Northamptonshire area an equine service to their yards. Our team of experienced vets, nurses and support staff are continuously updating their knowledge and skills to bring your animals the level of care you would expect from a modern veterinary practice. We are situated just off the Oakham bypass on Ashwell Road with easy access, and we have separate car and lorry parks. Our 24 hour emergency service is covered by our own vets from our hospital premises. In May 2010 we became clinical associates with the University of Nottingham School of Veterinary Medicine and Science giving us access to the expertise from leading veterinary specialists and substantially increasing our already 'state of the art' equipment range.
