Environment protection - with particular attention to the control of air pollution, water protection, noise and vibration prevention as well as the stringent protection of nature is therefore Ohorongo Cements highest priority. W e train our employees to raise awareness of the HSE risks and hazards and ensure that employees possess the necessary knowledge to work safely. Through adherence to all applicable legal obligations with regard to the HSE, the principals for prevention of incidents, injuries and pollution or, if inevitable, to minimise the negative impact on the environment. In addition, we significantly contribute to environmental protection by the deployment of alternative energy for the burning of clinker. Moreover, Ohorongo Cement has put in place additional measures with the goal to protect the environment.
