Online Turf has been operating as a turf farm, called North-West Turf, for over twenty years. Initially an agricultural farm in a small Lancashire village, the decision to turn the farm over to turf production was a brave one. However, the gamble paid off and North-West Turf has gone from strength to strength. Online Turf was originally conceived to help grow the business and to sell our great turf nationwide. E-commerce was still in its infancy at the time but it turned out to be another great decision. With products rolled out across the country, Online Turf helped forge great new working relationships across the UK and we were able to move into new product lines, such as Online Soil, Online Gravel, Online Rock Salt and more recently, Online Coal. Despite being a thriving company, North-West Turf stills believes in the roots that first made the business a success. Directors Andrew and Ian Mercer still maintain a hands-on interest in every aspect of the business and, even with an expanding team, they still uphold the values of a family business. Online Turf only buys from trusted suppliers and maintains the best possible relationships with our hauliers so that you benefit. We sell only the best product, and refuse to let anything substandard be delivered to our customers. We also have the highest possible commitment to our customer service, with our friendly team available over the phone or through our online chat facility. In 2011, Online Turf launched a new website, making buying turf even easier. With a higher level of functionality and a more attractive interface, our website is much easier to use and will make shopping for turf a more enjoyable experience for our customers.
