We specialize in the design of compact, high-performance electro-optical systems including visual augmentation systems, laser range finder systems, and long-range precision targeting and observation devices. Leveraging our core competencies in electro-optics, day and night imaging, laser range finding, and digital magnetic compass technology, Optics 1 is able to provide unmatched first-class electro-optical systems for warfighter and law enforcement missions. Optics 1 is a wholly-owned U.S. subsidiary of Vectronix AG of Heerbrugg (Switzerland) and is part of Safran Electronics & Defense (a Safran group). Its U.S-based manufacturing and testing operations is located in its headquarters in Bedford, New Hampshire with additional offices located in the Virginia/DC Metro area and California.
