OptiGrate

In 1999 OptiGrate Corp pioneered commercial volume Bragg gratings (VBGs) from photo-thermo-refractive glass. VBG technologies were developed in the late 1990's at the University of Central Florida with the US government funding and then licensed to OptiGrate for commercialization. Nowadays, OptiGrate is a leading manufacturer of VBG-based filters and components. OptiGrate supplies holographic optical elements to more than 500 customers on 6 continents in optoelectronic, analytical, medical, defense, and other industries. OptiGrate is located in Oviedo, FL where we design, develop and make all of our products.
