The CHC range of cleaning and lens hard coating machines are user friendly and fully automated through either our mass transfer or transporter robotic handling systems to process batches of lenses through the chosen cleaning and hard coating processes. Optimal Technologies standard and bespoke systems are extensively used by industry leaders in both the ophthalmic world for both Rx and the production of sunglass lenses, hard coating a variety of materials from CR39® through to mid, high index and polycarbonate lenses. We work with the market leader in premium abrasion-resistant dip-coating solutions for the ophthalmic industry, they produce a variety of hard and other coatings and primers for lenses and other transparent applications. Our partnership means that they are able to recommend coatings for specific application needs. These abrasion-resistant coatings can be applied to all lens substrates including high-performance index matched coatings and a variety of mid and high-index materials.
