The Organic Earthling

Organic Earth is a family run business based in Bend, Oregon. With ties in the commercial fishing industry, Organic Earth expands beyond the fisherman/wholesale relationship and offers live seafood to restaurants and individual consumers in Central Oregon. The Ihander family began their long history of commercial fishing in 1912. Louis Ihander became the first of the family to fish off the Pacific coast. From then on, many of the sons, daughters,and other family members continued the long trek to over 100 years in the commercial fishing industry. Over the next century, their boats would be fished from off the coast of California to as far north as the Bering Sea.
