Orono Schools

The Orono School District (ISD #278) is a Minnesota public school district located in the west-metro area of Minneapolis, Minnesota. The school district, organized in 1950, serves part or all of the following areas: Independence, Long Lake, Maple Plain, Medina, Minnetonka Beach, and Orono. Located in Long Lake, Minnesota, the district serves grades pre-kindergarten to grade 12 in four different school buildings.
