Ontario Society for Health and Fitness
The Ontario Society for Health and Fitness ("OSHF"; "the Society") is a not-for-profit organization founded in 2007 to address the needs of Ontario's rapidly growing fitness industry. In tandem with the Canadian Society for Exercise Physiology (CSEP), OSHF worked to promote the value of physical activity and the role of exercise professionals in improving population health. By 2013, OSHF had grown to certify and serve more than two thousand CSEP Certified Personal Trainers and Exercise Physiologists, and was becoming a recognized source of support for related industry practitioners.
