The Azienda Ospedaliero Universitaria "Ospedali Riuniti Ancona Umberto I-G. M. Lancisi-G. Salesi" was created with "Reorganization of the Regional Health Service" the merger by incorporation of The company Hospital "Umberto I" of Hospitals G. M. Lancisi and G. Salesi, respectively, and pediatric cardiology center. The new Hospital integrates with the Università Politecnica delle Marche di Ancona, taking the name of University Hospital. The University Hospital has three Hospital Deans. The company's organizational principles are identified as multidisciplinary, achievement of goals of care, teaching, training and research, development of technical and scientific expertise.
