When Walter Ostbye and E. Gust Anderson founded Ostbye in 1920, women voted for the first time, two-thirds of the world's oil originated in the U.S., the first commercial airline service in the U.S. began, and automobiles on the market included Stanley Steamer, Pierce-Arrow, Ford, Packard, Cadillac, and Mercedes. Some things change and some things you can always count on. From our humble beginning in the subbasement in downtown Minneapolis, our mission has been to create the best customer experience. Our focus has been relentless on giving our customers unparalleled service, quality and value. Today our mission and values continue in our own state-of-the-art 20,000 square foot factory now located in a Minneapolis suburb. Ostbye is a leading manufacturer of bridal and related jewelry serving fine jewelers throughout the United States, Canada and Europe. We focus our design talents and resources on products that achieve broad base consumer appeal, and add value with point of sales display programs, effective marketing and advertising aids and materials, and fast ship programs such as Ostbye Overnight. No company can survive almost 90 years without committed talented employees and dedicated loyal customers. We have been so fortunate over these many decades to serve the finest retail jewelers and attract and retain the most capable staff. For this we are most grateful.
