The Pachamama Alliance

The Pachamama Alliance ( www.pachamama.org) was established in 1995 in response to a request from the Achuar, an indigenous people deep in the Amazon region of Ecuador. The Achuar were seeking a partnership with people from the industrialized world who would join them in protecting the rainforest and their way of life. Empowered by this partnership with indigenous people, Pachamama Alliance is dedicated to bringing forth an environmentally sustainable, spiritually fulfilling, socially just human presence on this planet. We generate, and engage people everywhere in, transformational conversations and experiences consistent with this mission. Pachamama Alliance is a non-profit organization based in San Francisco, CA.
