Paddle Nepal

Paddle Nepal was created in 2006 by Nim Magar - 11 time Nepali National Kayak Champion and captain of Nepal's first National Rafting Team. Born and raised on the banks of the Trisuli River, "Min" and his brothers Santosh & Som are well known and respected in the international paddling community. All three brothers are proud members of the Nepali National White Water Kayaking & Rafting Teams and have represented Nepal internationally in the Kayaking World Championships. Together, they share over 35 years experience guiding rivers in Nepal and around the world. Born and raised in Nepal on the banks of the rivers with which we work & play, we have unlimited enthusiasm for adventure, passion for white water, dedication to safety and a genuine respect for Mother Nature. We are proud to be Nepali and excited to share our extraordinary country, culture, rivers & skills with you! Inspired by our own experiences working, training, coaching & competing on rivers around the world, our dream is to help Nepali river guides develop better employment opportunities both locally and internationally. We also strive to provide training and a fair chance to represent Nepal around the world through sport venues such as the World Championships, the Asian Games & the Olympics.
